Raggede Scrappy Mickey - I began this quilt when my now 3 yr old was a baby and wished for a Disney Embroidery machine to complete it. I've had the machine now for a year and a half and once I took time to figure out how to use it...I couldn't stop. In the meantime, we got news of our first grandson to be due in October. I finished the quilt for the baby and will soon be shipping it to Ohio. It began with an assortment of 5" red squares and I added a few "mickey" fabrics and some light blue log cabin strips. After the quilt sandwich was made, I then embroidered the Mickey Mouse and Friends patches. I did some echo quilting and some free-motion scribbles to finish it off.
