Unsure - My grandmother and her two sister each received a quilt top when they married. She would be 110 today. She never finished the quilt.The quilt has shirt pieces that look like blood is on them and some VERY small pieced areas. I got the quilt about 20 years ago and added the finished edge and a small border. Since it is only basted (I did not know how to finish it) I left it as was. I feel it is not meant to be put on a bed or used.
