suesparker Save the Last Dance for Me - The photos were of each year my granddaughter was in dance. I made this for her last year dance. I used t-shirt transfers for the photos. I had an allergic reaction to the detergent that I washed the fabrics in and my mom had to quilt it for me. I had to take benedryl so I could finish the peicing. It really turned out better than the picture shows. She loved the fan design she saw when I took her to a local quilt show. How the fans are put together reminded me of a tu-tu. So it fit right in with the theme.
