Design Source - Description | This is a collective scrap quilt using fabrics left over from garments. I was making this my daughter but when I put the green in she decided she didn't want it. My son had just gotten engaged and my new dil to be loved it and the colors were perfect for their new home. She purchased some very expensive lace for the wedding that she couldn't use anywhere else. So..I appliqued sections of the lace on each blank block. It really dressed up the plain triple irish chain. It has their wedding date at the bottom embroidered on by machine. It is a heirloom treasure for them. |
