Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow - Forest Fire - Entry for Ricky Tims' MicroCosmos show in February 2007, LaVeta, CO. The show theme was "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow". This is set of 3 mini-quilts (called a triptych) that represent the artist's view of a forest fire. Yesterday is the forest fire itself. Today shows new growth, starting with Fireweed in the forest. Tomorrow shows new pine tree seedlings growing out of the charred remains of a tree trunk. Many different fabrics and fibers were used to create these mini-quilts.
