RhondaD Trip around Colorado - my first quilt - Trip Around the World pattern kit with hand-dyed fabrics. The quilt was extended with additional borders so it fits a Queen size bed. The Columbine flower pattern was created by Rhonda Denney and appliquéd on the borders in two opposite corners. Quilting on the center portion is "stitch in the ditch". The Columbine flower pattern is quilted in the opposite two corners of the border, with echo quilting tying everything in the border together. This is Rhonda's first quilt, started in 2003 and finally quilted and finished in 2007.
