| Design Source - Description | This is a quilt that I saw hanging on a wall in my favorite store - the thrift shop. I took it home with me for $7.00. Someone did a lot of hand work with this quilt. They tried tea dying it but it just made it look dirty and shabby. I gave it a thorough wash and then starched it. It came out very nicely. Whoever made it did not put batting in it and originally I thought I'd take it apart, put in batting and then quilt it. But actually now I like it as it is. |
