Being very new to quilting and intimidated by the thought of quilting such a large item it sat on a shelf for many years. I was also torn between hand quilting and machine quilting. I finally decided I wanted it in my life as a completed project so machine quilting won out and I had my friend Sue quilt it for me in 2003.
