EBF1224 Alaskana Brick Road - This quilt was made in a hurry when my friend (and ex-husband) needed emergency open heart surgery and was going to be medivacced to Seattle. He lives in a cabin over 100 miles from civilization, only accessible by boat or snowmachine (or dog sled!) depending on the time of year. It was a great reminder to him of home, and he recovered and is back in his cabin in the Alaskan wilderness.
