Out of Africa Baby - I wanted to make a quilt for my daughter's best friend's baby. The friend, Lisa, has a masters in African art history. I didn't think I'd like working with African fabrics but soon fell in love the with patterns and bright colors. Sandy Cummings book provided the ideas. The design is mine. Lisa loved it!!!
