Design Source - Description | I was intrigued by Cheryl Phillips' circular quilts in her book, Quilt Without Corners, and loved this one, using the 9 degree ruler. It was quite a challenge to piece so I learned a lot. The designs in the center circle, as well as the center circle itself, were appliqued onto the top by machine. I really enjoyed quilting it on my Juki. It was also a challenge to hang, which was solved by hanging it on many "between" needles. Needless to say it doesn't come down often. I carefully dust it with the vacuum turned on low power. It really looks great in our bedroom, which was painted to coordinate with quilt. |
