cindywilsonmn Nebulana Dreaming - This was so much fun to make! The background uses a curved piecing technique that allowed me to create flowing "space gas" shapes, then cut out and insert circles of other space items. The fairie design was hand appliqued into place, and the wings are made of needle lace made using silver thread and dissolvable stabililzer. The quilt has been on a national tour with other Fairie quilts for the last 16 months or so, and will return home, I believe, in August 2007 or so.
