Falling Memories

Falling Memories - This 9" X 12" quilt was made in June, 2007, after Alex and Ricky talked about helping Alzheimer's Research. I made it in honor of my friend's Mother, JoMama, who is 94. The petals falling and on the ground are her lost memories. The petals on the flowers are embroidered with words representing her present memories. She has lost almost all her memories, but still plays the piano every day.
