Stack of Blocks

Stack of Blocks - I love the look of 3-D quilts so I wanted to make a tumbling block quilt. I had also been collecting all kinds of novetly fabrics for an I Spy quilt so I dedcided to combine the two projects. Traditional tumbling block quilts use diamonds, but I wanted the feature fabrics to be square. I played around with designs until I came up with a way of getting the 3-D look for tumbling blocks while keeping the front face of the block square.
