Design Source - Description | Three Sisters are mountains in the Cascade Range in Oregon. I took photos of the mountains and house, then used my computer to draw on top of the photos to get the items and details I wanted to include in my quilt. I used piecing and raw-edge applique, and embellished with thread-painting trees done both separately and on the top. The mountains are thread-painted. The antlers are 3-dimensional and are hung upside down because that's the way the home owner has them displayed. |
