| Design Source - Description | Whole cloth (dupioni silk) dye painted. Rocks were drawn and colored with Caran d'Ache Neocolor crayons, then thread painted and quilted separately on another piece of beige silk and appliqued on. Figure was printed from the original photograph and fastened to the piece when finished. Background has been highlighted with Jaquard fabric paints and Neocolor crayons in places. |
