Design Source - Description | This guild challenge quilt recalls carefree summer nights when my brothers and I played "Ghost in the Graveyard" at our home. This game is like hide-and-seek in the dark--the backyard (depicted in the quilt) had great big apple trees, Mom's big vegetable garden, the clothesline (complete with Dad's "shorts" hanging up with the "ghost"), and our beloved dog Teena. The waning moon is symbolic that these times in life are fleeting, but the memories last a lifetime. |
