taramail Calm before the storm - After taking Painted Landscapes with Michele Scott from Quilt University, I completed this quilt from a picture I had taken at a lake we live near. I then entered it in the QU Virtual quilt show to which it won an honorable mention. The painted fabric is machine quilted with various colored threads. Border fabric was also painted by myself.
