I have had his project in mind for over 10 years, been collecting "lizard" fat quarters forever. I have 270 different lizards in the final 7'x7' quilt. It's applicae/hand pieced with papers basted to the back of each lizard for alignment on a light table... FINAL STATUS: quilt finished and delivered, she squealed for five minutes and declared it "MINE!" and slept under it that night. |
