WiAndee My Great Grandmother's Gift - After my grandmother died young, her mother, my great grandmother, purchased this quilt to give to the next woman her son in law married--the one who would raise her three young grandsons (including my dad who was only about two years old) and it was used on their bed for a few years before being put away. I recently helped my grandmother move and we came across it and she told me the story and gave it to me. It is handsewn, handquilted and in great condition. It is one of the best gifts I have ever recieved.
