Spiralling into convergence

Spiralling into convergence - I made the top of this quilt in a Quilt in a Day class at my LQS last summer. It languished in the closet over the winter until I decided how I wanted to finish it. The quilting is done with rayon embroidery floss, in a feather stitch spiraling outward from the center of the quilt, completely by hand. There is a bit of machine quilting in the borders, then spirals are hand-quilted in each of the corner blocks. This is my third completed quilt project, and I could not be more pleased with the results.
