sherrysews200 Devils choice - I just Knew I had to applique this distinctive block, but it took me 4 years to find the right materials. Originally, there were to be nine blocks of the same pattern, and I had appliqued 8 of the nine when this setting sneaked into my head and I had to do it. It was very hard to cut those completed blocks in half, but it was worth it! This picture shows the whole thing before quilting, which I did on my home machine - I digitised a pattern from the elements of the design and quilted with my embroidery machine. I think it is perfect!
