In memory of Harriet and Pardon - The eagle block was drawn from the Civil War Veterans monument in our town. The quilt commemorates not only Harriet Tubman, but Pardon Davis, an abolitionist who was imprisoned in Louisiana for helping escaped slaves. This was the second project of our Civil War Club here at my shop.
