Design Source - Description |
3 koi machine appliqued onto convergence background. Made for my father's 80th birthday. He has always been drawn by the ocean, so the convergence in blue calls to mind the ocean. He is a fisherman, from salmon troller to aluminum boat as while as a Pisces. The two koi are circling in the Pisces symbol. And the little one in the corner? He's the "one that got away"! The fish are raw edged machine appliqued. Each scale is machine quilted as well as the facial expressions - as far as a fish can have expressions... Background quilting is a continuous circular wave pattern. Idenitifactio as well as dedication is on pocket in back. Inside the pocket is a printed description, dedication, care instructions and signature. |
