pknord Dancing Drunken Nine Patches - I made this one as my entry in our Guild's Challenge. The fabric in the border and in the blocks was the Challenge fabric, and it was indeed a challenge to use. This little quilt is actually Ricky's grandquilt. After taking some classes from him, and from a few others, on curved seam piecing and other things, I tried doing some of these little curved seam nine patches, and the quilt just grew from there. It was such fun to make, and remarkably freeing. I used Sharyn Craig's setting method to make the blocks dance.
