SartorResartus Per Aspera ad Astra - This is a blue-and-white medallion quilt. It took seven years to make (on and off) but was worth it in the end. It was on show in the Education Room of the Quilt Museum in York, UK for a few months in 2010, which made me prouder than I can say. There are approximately 1,480 patches and 20yds of fabric in the top. It is batted with Hobbs 80/20 Heirloom. Mettler thread for piecing; YLI HQ blue thread for quilting.
