flannel pjs - I purchased this quilt at a garage sale in Munster, IN. I was drawn to it because it looked like one of those old wool crazy quilts. It looked like it might have a flag on the top & purchased it quickly because it drew a crowd when the lady said "it's old - maybe 100 years because it was our Grandma's." When I got it home to check it out, I saw that the pieces of many different types of fabric - were stitched together with feather stitches & the quilt had red & white striped fabric on both the top & bottom, the front & the back. Lo & behold, it looks like red striped pajamas folded over the top & bottom edges of the quilt. Certainly a conversation piece. Although it was/is old, there was no musty odor whatsoever. I consider it a good deal for the $5 I paid for it. When I stopped back at the same house at a sale a couple years later, the lady told me she remembered seeing that I had it displayed with the antique quilts at my guild's quilt show the year before, but she was simply not interested in giving my any information about the quilt. Too bad.
