9patchnurse Winged Snails - I made this quilt in a workshop to learn how to use the square-in-a-square ruler. My mother had given me the butterfly wings fabric and it 'marinated' in my stash for 3 years before I was ready to use it. My friend (and guild president) Erin Underwood did a beautiful job quilting it with butterflies. The border is my own design.
