Martygood Quilted Bag - This is a quilted bag I designed to hold my projects in progress. The base fabric is all machine quilted in a cross-hatch design and the pockets are appliqued flowers and hearts with the blanket stitch hand stitched around them and with meandering surrounding the appliques. On the back are 2 pieced sawtooth star blocks (2 smaller blocks as pockets on one side) and my name is appliqued at the top (machine satin stitched). Needless to say, all four sides of the inside have pockets also and the bottom has a wood base
