threadpainting Summer Day - I always wanted my grandmother to live in the country and sadly for me she lived in the city. So I thought I would make a quilt where I wanted my grandmother to live. At my grandmothers there were always kid sto play with and I can't remember a time when she didn't have clothes drying on the line. While she wasn't an avid gardner, she always had a garden of the basics. And of course, I had her living in a farm house rather than a city house. I think of her every time I look at the quilt.
