LouisianaQuilter White on White - Curling Feathers - This is my first wholecloth and I made up the pattern. Hopefully, I came away with some good experience and wisdom to make the next one more exciting. White sateen, cut away trapunto, heavy quilting for the fill work..... With some advice from fellow Louisiana-quilter, Gayle Wallace, I changed the middle fill from a boring stipple to pebbles before entering it in our local quilt show. It won first place. My first, first place ribbon. I didn't quilt smiling for two days!!
