Carpenter Star - I started with eight fat quarters and background fabric to piece the center and scrappy border for this quilt. Then I added two additional borders to make a queen size quilt. You make this quilt without cutting any diamonds or working with bias edges. These quilts are all pieced with half square triangle units. It looks harder than it is.
