Design Source - Description | Applique of Mt. Shasta, foothills and tree line from my living room window. It is appliqued over hand dyes colored like the many sunsets here. It has appliqued stylized flying geese across it and is bordered by a pieced tree (to represent the forest), flying geese,(to represent the name of the Ranger district and we are located on the Pacific flyway) Bear paw (to represent Smokey the Bear). The final frame is done with fabrics to represent the sky forest and grasslands. |
