Bluesbroad No doctor for 25 days! - The challenge was on! We each drew three Crayolas (from a paper bag so you couldn't see them) and you had to use the three colors in the quilt, together with any others you wish. My colors were Scarlet, Black and Tickled Pink. The apples are made from tiny trips of fabric sewn together, the applique pattern was cut and fused to an offwhite background, and remaining strips were used for the framing. The quilts were hung at a local quilt shop, where customers voted for their favorite. Mine won first place!
