geeluweez Matanzas Memories (for Carolyn) - Large lap quilt made for my niece who had ALS. She and I loved to look for shells on the beach in Matanzas Bay, Florida, hence the use of many shell fabrics and shell-inspired batiks. This was given to her on her birthday in June of 2006. She loved it and used it. She passed away in January, 2007.
