WestCoaster Memories of Irene - Irene is my friend in Wales. Sharon is my good friend in Victoria who knew I was sending a quilt to Irene, and challenged me to use Irene's colours but in shades and patterns that reminded me of Irene. It was hard to work in someone else's colours, but I loved the result, and made another for me. That way I think of Irene when I look at it, and Irene has to think of me when she looks at hers! Isn't that what friendship is all about?
