dphock Above Healdsburg - I used an aerial photo of my town as the inspiration for this quilt. I experimented with reverse applique to add different layers of fabric. The river fabric was fabric I'd dyed by pouring dye as the fabric hung draped over a rod, which made for a streaky result. I love how it looks like light reflecting off of water.
