Dubblepink Olivia's Garden - I liked the design presented on the HGTV website as a block of the month, but it was too homogenous for me and I have a little Granddaughter named Olivia. So, my version is Olivia's Garden. I added baby birds in the bird houses and honeybees and butterflies with my Bernina Embroidery Machine. Then, I thought the quilt needed some drama, so I added a kitten hunting the baby birds and a puppy intimidated by a butterfly on his nose. I added some free-motion wood-graining to the fence at the bottom. Also tweaked the colors -- -- quite a bit, actually. It was fun!
