Everyone has a method for creating a double-wedding ring quilt and Debby Schnabel is no exception. She came up with this concept after struggling with different methods and it is truly her own. She created the quilt using 2" squares to form the rings and raw-edge zigzagged them into place. Debby says, "This technique was the perfect ‘recovery project’ for my carpal tunnel surgery!"

Click here to learn more about the quilt.

Star Members can watch Debby in Episode 1512: Enhance Your Quilting "Menu" with Hand Embroidery.

Today's quilt was created by Jan Potter of Scottsdale, AZ.  Jan was inspired by the White Buffalo Calf Woman legend of the Lakota Sioux.  She used Cherrywood fabrics for the solid colors and Ricky's multi-colored hand dyes.  The face is hand painted with fabric inks and the buffalo is painted and thread-embellished.  White Buffalo Calf Woman Rhapsody was quilted at home on a domestic BERNINA.  This one is a beauty, do the puzzle and find out for yourself.
