Artist statement: I started making this quilt in 2000, then put it aside for over 10 years. It features hand appliqué and embroidery and was quilted on my long arm.

Crossroad is the "cover girl quilt" for Sally's book, Borders, Bindings & Edges. It was designed and machine pieced by Sally in 2003 and was quilted by Kathleen Pappas of Los Angeles, CA.  It has a sampling of various borders including a sawtooth border, a checkerboard border, a dogtooth border and a final "plain" mitered border.

This is a nine-part block of the month from Lynette, which was inspired by her family pets, Hugo the dog and felines Fatcat, Freckle, and Felix. Approximate finished size of the quilt 54" x 62."
