This puzzle is Katie's quilt, "Dreamscape III: Try Whistling This."  Katie writes, "Dreamscapes are whole cloth images on white cotton fabric. I use paint, ink and dye to create the images. In the quilters’ tradition, I layer and stitch the pieces together for texture and structure."

Star Members can watch Katie in Show 1807: Fearless Quilting.

Dreamscapes are whole cloth images on white cotton fabric. Katie uses paint, ink and dye to create the images. She then layers and stitches the pieces together for texture and structure.

To find inspiration for her first quilt, “Acanthus with a Twist”, Mary went online and purchased every book she could find on William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement. After pouring over the books, Garry was inspired by a wallpaper design and began free hand drawing the design for this quilt.  To learn more about their "team quilting" process, watch Mary & Garry in Show 1806: Quilt Teams: Spouses & Sisters.
