Paula grew up in Brazil and the name Aquarela Do Brasil translates as Brazilian Watercolor. She created the quilt to remind her of a perfect day at Iguazú Falls.

It was great fun on the set of The Quilt Show when Paula was able to meet the designer of the "Effervescence" fabric that she used in this quilt. Amelia Caruso's fabric makes for a stunning quilt.

Chelsea Flower Show was inspired by the horticultural displays at the annual flower show in London. It uses three large floral prints to make four-patch blocks that are arranged randomly over the quilt surface.

Watch how Paula makes this type of quilt in Show 2307: Easy Stack Quilts & Solving Color Snags.
