In Month 6 of Afternoon Delight you'll be completing 2 appliqué blocks and 12 Double Nine Patch blocks.

Afternoon Delight was one of Sue Garman's favorite patterns. This wonderfully scrappy quilt is truly a delight to make with its combination of simple appliqué blocks and Double Nine-Patch blocks, and modified Shoo Fly blocks. Each month you will work on pieced and appliquéd blocks, and in the final month, you will assemble the blocks and add the outer border. The finished quilt measures approximately 86 1/2" square.
Each kit includes 37 fabrics for the center quilt blocks. There are four options for the border color- cadet blue, greige, red, or you can purchase the kit with no border and use your own fabric.

Month 5 is the last month in which you will make a shoo fly block – and you’ll only make one of them. You will also be making four more appliqué blocks.
