I got the same message, Robin, and mine is NOT! When I renewed I paid by Paypal and they have created a new membership for me in my Paypal account name. What a mess! I really don't want to be a new member in a different name -- I would like to have the continuity of the last 6+ years.

I have a question - does anyone know the purpose of friend requesting each other? I wonder if it is for a future feature that is not yet available?

Loise, correction, go your profile and towards the top there is a person icon, similar to Facebook. Mine had a red 2 that means 2 friend requests. If you click on it will show who the requests are from and you can approve or disapprove. Sorry I was wrong earlier.
