You lucky people....I've never been to USA and at my age I can't see it happening.
I hope you all have a great time.

Hi all, well Miss Lorchen, I signed up for the May retreat and guess what IT'S FULL!!! In fact all the retreats in 2015 are full so I am thinking of 2016. I may just have to drive down to have dinner with you girls anyway for a couple of hours. How great would that been to meet you girls. The pictures are great of the grandkids.

For some reason I am struggling with this new site and I usually pick it up pretty fast, old age, I guess.

Hugs from Colorado, Sharon

It's warm but soggy in Derbyshire could be worse. Roll on spring

Wow! Lorchen, congratulations on your retirement and new job!!! Sounds like an ideal situation!! And I'm envious about your upcoming retreat in LaVeta. It's on my list for some day …. The photo of the group of you must have been in Birmingham. I recognize Pam Day and you, but not the others.

Lorchen, your granddaughters get more and more beautiful every day! I'm glad the new job has taken away all of that stress. It's so bad for your health! I think the only problem with accepting a friend is that the pop-up doesn't go away on it's own. It's worked for me every time if I just close the box myself and assume it's okay. In a few seconds, the new friend pops up!

I don't know what the advantage of friending is, but right now it makes it easy for me to find the profile pages of the people I know. You can also set up permissions for things like photo albums so that just your friends can see the contents. Groups have me a bit baffled, but it might be an easy way to send a message to a specific group of people. I'm sure this will all become clearer as the functionality on the Web site is fixed and as we play with it more.
