I don't know, it certainly is a German company, and it's the one that my bernina dealer sells.

The great advantage is that the table has a lift so it can be positioned at whatever height required for a particular job and the sewing machine has its own lift to sit level, or be hidden away.. We're getting a similar type of desks at the office and it's fantastic - when I work in my colleagues office I'm generally standing all day, can't wait till we need to purchase desks the next time, I'm next in line to get a new one.

Wow, Lotti, that is a gorgeous table for Bernie... you could even have Bernie in the office and pull up Bernie when things are slow... I'm actually going to look at this site carefully... DH is designing my table and I wll just have to show him this web page. THANKS!

The one I've been dreaming about is this:

Better picture from the nadelwelt exhibition, check out the last two pictures on this page:

And it looks good too... ;)

Great table.. I had just a out decided on investing my 20-year employment anniversary check in a sewing table... With air lift and everything... Will have to have a rethink... Who knows, I might find the perfect alternative at ikea?

I have decided that I don't need a dining table in my dining/living room, I generally eat off a tray on the sofa anyway, and when I have company I can always drop the sewing machine (that's what the air lift is for isn't it?) and put a tablecloth over the table...

Great table Lynn. I have room, just need to more more stuff out of the way. DH is always telling me to get rid of stuff. He has no idea of what is good. :D And he is not allowed to clean anything if I am not home. I just wish I could get him to help me with some construction. I need some shelves put in a cabinet he got for me. I found some storage bins (Sterilite fits 18 gal totes). Anyway, they are perfect to fit in this cabinet if it had shelves. DS told me to make a list of what I want done. Inside jobs and outside jobs. What gets done depends on the weather. I sure love that man. I just wish he came to visit more often.

So, we use your stash as a temporary mattress for the duration, not a problem here.

Therein lies the problem, I'd have to make a choice and then clean up all my sewing stuff and move all the machines
