Someone showed a star like the middle one. I loved it. So I went with stars for the quilt.

It's sort of strange to me, not having a border, but the quit seems done without one. It's third in line for quilting, so I guess it's possible I might change my mind and add something, but for now, the top is finished.

I really want to thank Alex for helping to keep me sane during this very unusual time. When I am sewing, that's all I am thinking about. And this project really made me think. It has expanded my color boundaries and also quit layouts. Thank you!

I finished my mystery quilt, but cannot get the picture to post. So I posted it on Facebook with #quiltersquarantine. I really enjoyed making it and learned a lot. I won't be making the basket quilt as I need to get back to my UFO's. Next I will be quilting the Zinnia quilt I made in a class with Melinda Bula at the AQS Daytona show last year. But I will still be watching all the Live videos. Thank you Alex and all your team keeping us connected to the quilt world during this challenging time.

What a fun experience! I’m much more comfortable with the color wheel and some tricks for precision have improved my accuracy. The finished top is on my Design Floor!

Finished and proud. To make it mine, I added a bear going into the pine trees. Not only does it represent where I live, but how I feel the pandemic has affected everyone around me. We have simply gone into hibernation. Good news......spring is coming!

I'm a novice quilter. Trying to find a hobby to get absorbed in when I retire in 9 months. Have to admit that the Kaffe fabric line felt chaotic to me. But after a bit of reflection realized that it fit with what has been happening this year. So I put on my brave pants on and went forward. The flying geese centers have motivational words to give it a bit more of an uplifting feels to it. "Show Grace, Choose Joy, etc".

Finished the quilt top. Please don't look to closely. I've learned a lot, but have a long way to go. I'm going to finish the quilting and binding this winter. Then thinking of donating it. I had fun working with the color wheel. I've always either used kits, or followed the colors shown in a pattern. So this was something new and fun! Thanks Alex!!!

You were lucky to NOT get the Kaffe fabric. Your design is incredible.

Finally! Completed front and back-one traditional and one liberated. Waiting for quilting thread... learned a lot, enjoyed being liberated very much! On the traditional side there is a Zen ‘prayer block’ adding a tiny bit of self-hand-dyed indigo. On the wonky side, a block dedicated to black and brown lives and LBGTQ-all representing things during this wonky

I am pretty sure it is finished, but I might add a Kaffe border that mimics the color wash effect.
