Dear Barbara,
Any possibility that The Quilt Show would update this website with a more user friendly Forum? It's clunky, cumbersome and confusing :( The daily blog allows comments directly below the article and/or photos. That one change would make a difference. I'm following the Kaffe Mystery Quilt and would love to see everyone's posts, but I don't want to invest the time to go through 60+ pages.
Thanks for listening.
Marjorie

A completely new website is coming soon! At that point there will be a new learning curve. All these things are being worked on. Once the site is up, you can count on new videos with step-by-step guidance.

I'm definitely NOT tech savy and can't for the life of me figure out how to actually get something posted on The Forum. I also see you mentioned a link at some point for a video explaining how, but I couldn't even find the link. Can you help a lost cause like me?

You did post on the Forum! If you want to post about the Kaffe Mystery Quilt--be sure to use that category. Go to RECENT TOPICS to find it.

Here is the link on how to post photos:

I see that Barbara and a few others are able to post replies to a specific person. When I do the quick reply, it posts it as it’s own comment, rather than in the specific individual comment block. Therefore, I have been adding the person’s name so they’ll know it was them I was complimenting, etc. Also, how do you “like” a post? I appreciate any help.

You can use, Quote, as I did here, to include the post you are replying to. You can edit the quote too if it's too long or has more that you are not replying to.

You are correct, Quick Reply does not include the previous post--it is just a quick way to respond--it has less options for posting, like photos, etc.

We have the "Thank You" button on each post--I consider that just the same as "Like" on Facebook, a fast way to say "thanks for this post".

Hope this helps.

Sewskeel, Barbara answered your question but I thought maybe a visual would make it easier to find the REPLY TOPIC she is talking about.
I attached a screenshot. Just look where the green arrows point to. HelenW

Sewskeel, Reply Topic is right above the blue bar that shows the name of the Topic.

When you posted photos earlier, you created a New Topic and it was in a different Category, I think the 2020 BOM—several people did that. I have to move them to the Kaffe Mystery Quilt—Learn With Alex Topic.

I hope this helps.

I am so confused about posting on this forum. Today I received this in an email
Today I moved 6 people's posts here. Soon we could have many separate Topics about the Mystery Quilt, so you would have to go to lots of Topics to see them all.

What NOT to Do:
Create a New Topic for the Mystery Quilt

What to Do:
1. Come to this Topic
2. Select Reply Topic
3. Create your post, include photos if you like
4. There is a specific Topic with instructions/video for adding photos, find it here:

I do not see #2 in my menu
I see no replies
I can insert photos but I am not getting them in correct place. Sorry
Thanks for support of dummies like me.
