Your Maggie Walker quilt is wonderful. I have been drawn to her chicken quilts. I think they are amazing. Now that you are writing about this again, I remember you were finishing you HST Quilt for FOQ. I am eager to see it too. Enjoy the show.

Yes, It is the Festival of Quilts at Birmingham. I am entering my HST in the Group quilts. The one I finished quilting last night is my Vases and Flowers Quilt and it will be in the traditional section. It was a BOM called Roseville by Maggie Walker. I started it while living in Florida in 2003. So my BOM turned into a BOY (year)! I need a sleeve on both and the binding on the Vases quilt and it also needs a label. whew! I am so excited to finally get that one done. Pictures to come when binding is on. The WIP pic is on my profile, 3rd one over in personal photos. My 1st needle turn applique quilt. I have loved working on this quilt.

I am waiting for my pattern and will use some of my own hand dyed fabrics plus whatever goes from my stash. I hope to work on it all summer and finish it for our guild show at end of Sept.

cheers

I am waiting for the pattern to be delivered. I'll post pictures as I go. I've got lots of other stuff I'm working on also.

Isn't that the best part of quilting? You can work on several things at once!

I ordered the pattern and do plan to make it. I doubt if it will be started for awhile though. I'll decide on fabrics after I see the pattern and finish watching the video.

I've ordered the pattern and will try to work on it when I get it, but I often get sidetracked. I'll post whatever I do. I'm thinking about colors, but will wait until I have the pattern in hand before making any decisions.
