Hi all. My Big Gibbs (my 830 LE) is at the spa for its regular service. It kept telling me over and over that it was time for it to have its service. So I finally relented and took it there last week. While it's gone, I thought it was a good time to turn the cabinet I use for it into a cutout station and cut out some summer clothes. I wrote a blog about this: http://blog.bjfabricartist.com/2013/06/30/sewing-summer-clothes.aspx in which I describe how to mark using old fashioned methods of a combination of clips in the seams and tailor tacks, if you are interested.
Are any of you making clothes for summer? I have completed the cutting out and will sew a few together this week using my other machines, which want their part of the fun too. Yes, I know, I think of them as living beings, but you know they seem to be sometime, especially when they mess up--couldn't me be, I NEVER mess up
